Our Teacher, Katie Ockers
Katie joined us in September, 2008. She has 10 years of experience teaching preschool, in the Village School Montessori, The Developmental Preschool, The Open School, University of Wyoming Early Care and Educational Center. She has experience with Montessori, Reggio, and Creative Curriculum approaches.
In Katie's words, she "strives to foster excitement and wonder in her students by providing opportunities for hands on interaction and exploration in a welcoming environment." She takes her role to educate and nurture our next generation very seriously and transfers her enthusiasm to her young students.
